Tchaikovsky Group, please come to Kreisler Group(12:15-1) this day if possible, so we can start practice for possible 6/10 performance!

May 18th Day in Old New Castle VIOLIN GROUPS!!

We will be playing this event again, as we did last year...all Bach thru Kreisler Groups are invited to play!  We will use the repertoire from the Suzuki Day list, so please be reviewing those pieces!! Julie will play keyboard again, and Jessica will be leading.  The most advanced piece we'll play is Bach Bouree (last piece in bk 3). 

We will play from 1-2pm in Old New Castle...location & directions coming soon.  TUNING will be at 12:30.

NOTE: This event will be IN PLACE OF group classes that day--so NO REGULAR GROUPS in the morning (Mendelssohn, Paganini, Kreisler)!

Summer programs

We also offer a summer musicianship class for reinforcement of theory and reading skills!

The Suzuki group class for violin students books 1 & 2 will also be offered on 4 Thursdays throughout the summer. See the summer brochure for specific dates.

Sign up for Youth Strings Camp or DOCMI!!

Youth Strings Camp is the week of July 22nd this year--for book 2-4 levels (late bk 1 violin accepted).  Ages 6-12!!  Julie Murphy & Jessica Hoffman run this camp each summer--lots of fun and music-making!

Delaware Orchestral and Chamber Music Institute--Week of July 29th. Book 5+ levels, ages 12+.  Audition may be required for this program.

1/27 Recital Receptions

Please bring the following to room 118 for your recital's reception:

Book 1 students: Bring napkins or small plates
Book 2/3 students: Bring drink boxes or bottled water to share
Book 4 + bring a sweet or salty snack to share
