MASTER CLASS THIS SATURDAY 12/7!

This Saturday, Dec. 7, from 11:45-12:45pm in the Concert Hall, Jessica Hoffman will be giving a special class on the topic of BODY AWARENESS (for the reduction of tension while playing) to the SA Camerata students.  All other SA students are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.  

Heifetz and Kreisler students are REQUIRED TO ATTEND:)

Dear Music School families –

I’m just returning to work after a week-long hospital stay.  It’s my understanding that you were not notified of my absence.  This information should have been on the blog and didn’t get there due to a miscommunication.  I/we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

In the beginning of the year, I wrote a letter which I distributed (and have attached) indicating that I would be teaching on 5/25.  I do plan to do that.  The schedule will be the adjusted schedule in case anyone has their regular group class make-up.  The fact that I would be holding this class (with an adjusted schedule) was included on the SA blog post again on February 27.  We still have class on June 8 and I will have to review the schedule more thoroughly to find a make-up day for last Saturday.  I will be prepared to address this on 5/25.

I hope that I will see you this Saturday.  Thank you for your understanding.

If you are involved in either of my Suzuki orchestras on Saturdays, we WILL HAVE REHEARSAL on June 1st, after the Graduation dress rehearsals, scheduled as following:

1:15-2pm Concert Strings (normal schedule)
1:40-2:45pm Festival Strings (combining at 1:40 to rehearse American Fiddle Medley)

On SATURDAY JUNE 8th, we will have our concert at 3:30pm.  Warm-ups/Tuning is as follows:

FESTIVAL strings: 1:45pm
CONCERT strings: 3:00pm
